Impact Communications provided video documentation and event coordination and production services to Sterling Jewelers, Inc. and ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at the June 19 ribbon cutting, to officially open the hospital’s Kay Kafe, in Memphis, Tennessee.
The ceremonial event highlighted the three-day Memphis Incentive Trip for select Sterling Jewelers’ Store Teams and Managers. Attendees earned a place on the trip for their outstanding fundraising performance to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
In addition to working with the hospital’s media department to coordinate and cover the event, Impact conducted interviews with winning Sterling employees, hospital staff, and patients and their families for use in upcoming Sterling productions. The ribbon cutting featured Marlo Thomas, National Outreach Director for St. Jude; Tony Thomas, member of the ALSAC/St. Jude Board of Directors and Governors, Terry Burman, Chairman of Sterling Jewelers, and Mark Light, CEO and President of Sterling.
Sterling Jewelers, longtime corporate partner of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, committed $16 million to the expansion and renovation of the hospital’s cafeteria.
